After a relatively smooth debut on the New York Stock Exchange, Spotify is inspiring a handful of other music tech companies to consider launching their own IPOs. For weeks (maybe even months) rumors swirled Cardi B was pregnant. The Bodak Yellow artist kept it a secret by wearing clothing that hid her belly, and while she didn’t deny the rumors, she also didn’t acknowledge she and fiance Offset were expecting their first child together.

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Fetty Wap got some music coming soon.
It's been a big year for Tekashi 6ix9ine in several ways. While he's been steadily been making his name known to the masses, he's also had to deal with some controversy along the way. However, that hasn't stopped him from continuing to push his career forward. After "Gummo" went viral and pretty much took over the internet, he's been spotted in the studio with some prominent figures. Most recently though, he and Fetty Wap were spotted in the studio working on something fire.
On a video that surfaced on social media, Tekashi 6ix9ine and Fetty Wap were spotted in the studio previewing a new collaboration. At this point, there's no say when it'll drop but it definitely sounds fire. 6ix9ine's aggressive and raspy flow compliments the trap like production while Fetty Wap's auto-tuned melodies contrast 6ix9ine but all together, it works well.
"Run off with the shit on the regular/ Bare face, I'mma hit a lick on the regular/ Comin' with the drop, gun cocked on the regular/ GM6 Stunna with the nine of the regular," 6ix9ine raps.
Fetty joins him after that line and presumably, the song is called "On The Regular" based on the repetition on the track.
The veteran Atlanta rapper revealed the title, release date and cover for his new album. The project, titled simply Pressure, will be released on Def Jam on Dec. 15.
The rhymer's announcement comes as a bit of a surprise, but it's one he's actually been teasing for a little while now. For the last several weeks, the Snowman's been using the hashtag #TrustYaProcess on his social media accounts. It appears to be a very slight flip of the Philadelphia 76ers motto of #TrustTheProcess, with Jeezy's version calling people to "trust in oneself to overcome life's most difficult challenges." Dope.
To announce Pressure, Jeezy, who signed with United Talent Agency last summer, uploaded an extra-cinematic trailer to his Instagram account. In it, Jeezy pulls up in his flossy white Ferrari before stepping onto the snow-covered road. At that exact moment, a triumphant new track, presumably from his Pressure album, begins playing, and we know the Snowman has arrived.
"PRESSURE. 12/15. #TrustYaProcess," he captions the appropriately epic trailer. You can pre-order Pressure through Jeezy's official online store and cop official #TrustYaProcess gear from the same place.
Ralo is going for Moneybagg Yo's neck on "Trending."
For the past few weeks, there have been shots thrown between Moneybagg Yo and Ralo. While it's unclear where it actually stems from, Ralo claimed that Moneybagg Yo paid promoters $7500 to not let him in the club. Since then, they've been firing shots back and forth, mainly on social media. Today, Ralo brings is back to the essence of hip hop and puts his thoughts on wax with "Trending."

Following the release of his platinum-selling DAMN. album, Kendrick Lamar confirmed rumors that the album was indeed intended to also be played in reverse order. “I think like a week after the album came out, [fans] realized you can play the album backwards,” the TDE rapper said back in August. “It plays as a full story and even a better rhythm. It’s one of my favorite rhythms and tempos within the album. It’s something that we definitely premeditate while we’re in the studio.”
Listen to the second offering from Eminem's "Revival" album called "Untouchable."
As we near closer to the December 15th release date of Eminem’s 9th studio album Revival, the Detroit legend continues to slowly reveal further details about it. After learning a couple days ago that the LP will contain 19 songs in total and feature guest appearances from Phresher, Ed Sheeran, Pink, Skylar Grey, Kehlani, Alicia Keys, X Ambassadors, and Beyonce, the latter of which appears on the previously heard single “Walk On Water,” Em has now gone ahead and made the album available for pre-order on iTunes today, ultimately sharing its artwork (which we saw yesterday) & a new song in the process called "Untouchable."
Atlanta just can’t stop, won’t stop producing rap stars, and Lil Baby is another prime candidate for Rookie of the Year in the thriving city. Quality Control Music just welcomed the young artist to the squad with a multi-album record deal.
Partnering with his own 4 Pockets Full team, the conglomerates plan to release to his debut major label album in 2018. For his latest track — the “My Dawg (Remix)” — Baby called on Kodak Black, Quavo and Moneybagg Yo.
Lil Baby’s newly released Too Hard album is available on all streaming platforms now.
Los Angeles police have arrested Corey McClendon, a friend of chart-topping rapper Yo Gotti, on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting of up-and-coming Tennessee rapper Young Dolph in front of a Hollywood hotel Tuesday afternoon.
Det. Meghan Aguilar, a spokeswoman for the LAPD, said Wednesday that McClendon was arrested and booked early Wednesday. He was being held on $1 million bail.
She said investigators are still looking for two other men believed to have been involved in the fight with Young Dolph, 32, which led to the shooting in the valet area of the Loews Hollywood hotel, near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
Young Dolph (real name Adolph Thornton Jr.) is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital from a gunshot wound , Aguilar said.
McClendon, 43, is a known associate of Gotti (real name Mario Mims), who was charged with nine other men with aggravated riot in a melee that led to the shooting of six people in the parking lot of nightclub in Memphis in November 2010.
Local media reports at the time said McClendon, then 36, was one of the men charged after he and Yo Gotti got into an argument with another rapper, OG Boo Dirty. But a few months later, all charges were dropped by the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office because there weren’t enough witnesses to the fight.
The Hollywood altercation took place about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aguilar said, when Young Dolph and three men got into an argument.
"The argument between (Young Dolph) and the men escalated to a physical fight, and he fell to the ground. One of the men then pulled out a gun and started shooting," Aguilar said. "Young Dolph was struck but was able to get up and run into a local business."
Two of the men ran off and the third jumped into a gold Cadillac Escalade parked in front of the hotel, Aguilar said. He drove off but abandoned the car and ran away on foot.
This is the second time this year that Young Dolph has been shot at: In February, his SUV was targeted by as many as 100 bullets in Charlotte, N.C., before a party he was to attend at a nightclub. His vehicle was bulletproof so the Memphis rapper escaped unharmed and was able to make his scheduled appearance.
In May, a Memphis-based rapper, Blac Youngsta, was one of three men charged with discharging a weapon and felony conspiracy in connection with the shootout, believed to stem from a rivalry between out-of-town rappers.
Later, Young Dolph released track, 100 Shots, on his album Bulletproof. He's best known for his guest verse on, Cut It, by O.T. Genasis, which hit 35 on the Billboard chart in 2016.
Yo Gotti's Rake It Up featuring Nicki Minaj is currently No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, some of Young Dolph's friends and admirers spoke out about the Hollywood shooting on social media.
"Get well soon my boy @youngdolph," 2 Chainz posted on his Instagram. Young Dolph was scheduled to open for the hip-hop star in Georgia to next week.
